BGTV Pawcasts

History

BGTV has its own version of podcasting called "Pawcasting". The first Pawcasts began in 2006 and featured our boy's baseball team. We are not able to broadcast the games on our television channel due to constraints with our baseball fields but fans are able to hear the play-by-play on the internet the evening of home games.

Sports Pawcasts

The BGTV Sports Pawcasts can be found listed in the iTunes Music Store podcasting section. Download the last 3 seasons of Varsity Baseball home games with BGHS student Courtney Parrish behind the microphone. You can subscribe to the Pawcast and iTunes will automatically download the newest broadcast to your computer when it is available. From there the audio can be downloaded to your favorite mp3 player for listening on the go.

Future Pawcasts

Sports

During the school year the Advanced Video Production class edits highlight videos for many of our sports teams. Hopefully some if not all of these highlight videos will make their way to the Pawcast section as well as audio interviews with coaches, players, BGHS alumni and play-by-play of various sports.

Along with sports videos the class also works on my different projects throughout the year including weekly newscasts, short films and special community projects. Look for another pawcast section in iTunes later this year with non-sports related material.
